Meet the Team

After nearly five years as colleagues (and the only South Asians on our team), our friendship graduated from colleagues to friends. Conversations about Bollywood movies turned into chats about weekend family plans, navigating two cultures, and all the little things that come with being part of the South Asian diaspora. During one of these chats is when Neal learned that Srishti got engaged!

As Neal asked about her planning experience, one thing became painfully clear: planning a South Asian wedding was way harder than it should be. Guest lists spread across multiple events, communications with guests was difficult, endless spreadsheets just to track who was invited to what and where guests were staying. Despite all the technology available today, the process was still chaotic and exhausting.

And it wasn't just Srishti. Every South Asian couple we spoke to had the same story. Existing wedding tools were designed for single-day Western ceremonies - not multi-day celebrations filled with traditions, rituals, and hundreds of moving pieces.

So we built what we wish existed.

Henna & Harmony is a platform created by the South Asian community, for the South Asian community - designed to honor our traditions while making planning feel calm, organized, and joyful again.
